The lunatics ARE running the asylum

Interesting day today.

I came across the credit card machine that cannot accept any credit card with curved edges (Have you EVER seen a credit card with squard edges?)

The complaints line that cannot accept complaints - Wanadoos' customer complaints line are unable to help unless they can do something about the problem.

And

The helpdesk that gets scheduled downtime confused with a network outage. Neither of which was true. Today I had problems with my Wanadoo broadband so I phoned the tech support line to be told that there was a network wide site downtime scheduled outage. When pressed further he clammed up. A call back 20 minutes later actually showed no issue and the problem was fixed.

At least my internet connection is back again but this is the second time in a week its failed with inconsistent information from wanadoo.
